Our History
Balmoral Lodge was established in 2007 with House Constable being the very first property of the Balmoral Lodge Family. House Constable is our main house, fully equipped with a Dining Area, Bar and Lapa located alongside the swimming pool area making the house different from our other properties. Our main house comprises of six guest rooms.
In 2008, we added our second house to the Balmoral Family, namely House Van Eyck which was designed with luxury in mind. This property houses our honeymoon suite and eight other beautiful guest rooms, accompanied by a beautiful rock pool and fire pit, providing guests with a very relaxed atmosphere.

Our Turner 12 property was added in 2010, consisting of seven stylish guest rooms as well as our main function and conferencing venue, which was recently renovated.
In 2011, we decided to expand our family by adding our biggest building, namely Turner 14. This property comprises of nineteen luxury guest rooms, a dormitory that can accommodate eight people as well as our other conference facility. Something unique about Turner 14, is that it is the home to our very own art gallery, comprising of over 400 beautiful paintings done by mostly local artists.
Balmoral Lodge further added to our family with House Link, which was established in 2017, comprising out of seven guest rooms. House Link is one of a kind as it is the only house that has a hydroponics system which is a method of growing plants without soil by instead using mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent. This system has been a huge success and one that we are extremely proud of.
House Reynolds is our second latest addition to the Balmoral Family, added in 2018 and designed with a very specific and modern style in mind making this property unique in every way compared to the rest of the properties. This property consists out of ten modern guest rooms.
Our most recent addition from 2022 is 11 Constable. Comprising of 6 guestrooms in it’s first phase of development and a further 8 rooms in the second phase also features a conference room. The lounge area comfortably converts into a dinning room/conference room or lounge making this one of our multifunctional areas.
A company is only as good as the team behind it and we believe that the only way to achieve and provide an excellent service to our guests every day is by having a great team who truly enjoys their work.
Our management team is led on a daily basis, by the beautiful faces you see above, however no team and company is complete without every team member. The rest of our Balmoral Family consists our of maintenance and housekeeping team members, who work in the background but without them, none of what we do, will be possible.
All of us work closely together in a combined effort to provide the best possible product and service to our guests and to ensure that your stay meets your expectations and is enjoyable at all times.

Our Values
Commitment
I give myself and everything I commit to 100% until I succeed. I am committed to the Vision, Mission, Culture and successor of Balmoral Lodge, its current and future team, and its clients at all times. I always recommend products and services of Balmoral Lodge prior to going outside the company.
Teamwork
I am a team player and team leader. I do whatever it takes to stay together and achieve team goals. I focus on co-operation and always come to a resolution, not a compromise. I am flexible in my work and able to change if what I am doing is not working. I ask for help when I need it and I am compassionate to others who ask me.
Communication
I speak positively of my fellow team members, my clients and Balmoral Lodge in both public and private. I speak with good purpose using empowering and positive conversation. I never use or listen to sarcasm or gossip. I acknowledge what is being said as true for the speaker at that moment and I take responsibility for responses to my communication. I greet and farewell people using their name. I always apologize for any upsets first and then look for a solution. I only ever discuss concerns in private with the person involved.
Success
I focus my thoughts, energy and attention on the successful outcome of whatever I am doing. I am willing to win and allow others to win: Win/Win. At all times, I display my inner pride, prosperity, competence and personal confidence. I am a successful person.
Ownership
I am truly responsible for my actions, the outcome that my actions will bring, and own everything that takes place in my work and my life. I am accountable for my results and I know that for things to change, first I must change.
Consistency
I am consistent in my actions so my clients and teammates can feel comfortable in dealing with me at all times. I am disciplined in my work so my results, growth and success are consistent.
